We’ll Show You Ours…
Take Two Therapy Services isn’t your typical therapy office, and we like that about ourselves. Our clinicians use an integrated approach of systemic therapeutic modalities and somatic techniques to tailor a plan that will help you achieve your goals.
We offer a warm and inviting environment where we strive to meet you where you’re at — if you need to cry, we’ll hand you the box of tissues. If you need to laugh, we’ll crack a joke (sometimes unintentionally). If you need to scream, we’ll offer you a pillow to let it rip.
Why We Exist
At certain moments in our lives, we’re faced with the opportunity to continue on our current path or turn in a different direction. When those moments arise, we might miss our chance to try something different because our self-confidence is lacking, our traumatic past is prohibitive, or our inner circle isn’t supportive. Sound familiar?
Whether you’re looking for a restart, reset, do over, version 2.0, second chance, fresh start, clean slate, or rebirth, you’re here because you’re looking for something different, something healthier, something that feels better than what you’re experiencing right now. We invite the opportunity to help you achieve that different, healthier, and better state.
Ideal Client
Our ideal clients are the ones who actually want to do the work — people who are not satisfied with their current dynamic and are motivated to implement real change in their lives. In the therapy room, we can talk about tactics to try or conversations to have, but if you don’t end up doing those things when you’re on your own, you can’t expect to see real results. Therapy works if you do. We promise to work with you but not harder than you.
What You Can Expect
A standard therapy session lasts 50-minutes ($180) while an extended session lasts 90-minutes ($270). We offer in-person and telehealth sessions. Sessions may include but are not limited to a mix of standard talk therapy, in-session exercises, somatic practices, and/or real-world techniques.
In your first couple of sessions, we will collaborate to establish the goal(s) you want to achieve through therapy. Each subsequent session will be geared toward accomplishing that goal. There may be times when you want to address a current topic and/or challenge, and we encourage you to bring those ideas to your session. Your therapist will always meet you where you’re at.
What does Take Two mean to you?
Or what do you want it to represent?
As systemic therapists, we know there’s always a deeper meaning or root cause beneath the surface, and our practice is no different.
Here’s what Take Two means to us:
Take Two = a second chance
Take(s) Two = you and your partner(s) need to be committed to change
Lauren’s Take Two = transitioning from a career in advertising to a career as a therapist
Take Two = any performer knows about a take two (and five, six, seven, eight!)
